What is your cancellation policy?

Things happen and I understand the need for flexibility in my client's schedules and respect how valuable their time is. I make every attempt to accommodate client schedules and would ask that you, as a client, do the same.  To make sure that scheduled appointments flow smoothly, clients will need to confirm or cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance. 

What if I'm late to my appointment?

I will do my best to accommodate you, but if you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule.  If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible to let me know. My clients are scheduled back to back, which means if I start just one client late, every client after that will be seen late.  Sometimes I can catch up, sometimes I can't depending on what type of service is scheduled after yours.

Can I bring my children with me?

The environment of a salon is meant to be a getaway  from the stresses of daily life. In an effort to keep appointments relaxing, enjoyable and distraction free for everyone, I ask that you please make child care arrangements prior to your appointment.

What if I want my hair colored? You don't have it on your lists of services when I go to book online...

We all excel in certain areas and color is not one of mine. I love beautiful color and what it does to accentuate the haircut... This is why I work with 2 fabulous colorists.  I have been working with them for almost 20 years and they are outstanding. If you are interested in getting color and a haircut on the same day, we can accomodate you!

What should I do if I am not happy with my service?

If you are unhappy with your service, I ask that you let me know within 5 days.  I need to know so I can do something about it.  I always go out of my way to make my clients happy and when someone isn't, I will do what it takes to make the situation better.  With that being said, not achieving your desired final results in one visit, when we discussed in the consultation that it will require multiple visits, does not constitute a "re-do".  If there is an issue, I am always willing to make it right and leave you 100% happy with your hair! 

What if I want to return the haircare product I bought?

I am sorry that you are not happy with the haircare product I choose specifically for your hair.  I would be happy to exchange it for a different product or give you credit towards another product  purchase.

What is an American Wave?

American Wave is Non thio, non ammonia waving system. Using Cysteamine and potassium, American Wave breaks between 10-20% of the hair bonds, depending on the porosity. A traditional perm breaks the hair bonds up to 80-90%. American Wave creates its own heat, meaning the cuticle opens gently. Modern ionic technology means that American Wave is positively charged. The hair is negatively charged. American Wave and the hair are attracted to each other, reducing friction and frizz. Thio-based perms are negatively charged, increasing friction and frizz.

What is difference between the three different Keratin Treatments you offer?

I am so excited to be offering my clients the Keratin Complex Treatments. The Express Blowout lasts up to 6 weeks and has an 8 hour downtime (meaning you can't do anything with your hair). The Personalized Blowout has 0 downtime, meaning you can do anything to your hair the moment you leave my chair ;) This treatment lasts up to 3 months.  Last but not least is the full blown Natural Keratin Smoothing Treatment that has a 72 hour downtime and lasts 4-6 months.
